7th Annual Truckload of Fun Giveaway!

November 7th BC Used Cars and MCCS will be giving away a Nissan Terrano 4x4 (Pathfinder in the USA). This will be held at the Camp Fost Field house. The giveaway will start at 10 A.M. To enter listen to Wave89.1 pick up a copy of The Source or check out the MCCS web site. The event will be held with a luau, games, prizes, entertainment and more.

2009 Road Tax

2009 Road Tax season is upon us.

What you need to pay your road tax with us is your title and if your car was in your name before April 1, 2009 we also need your 2008 road tax receipt or proof that it was paid. Also we charge a $10 or ￥1000 handling fee.

Rate for a 300 series is ￥19000
Rate for a 500 series is ￥7500
Road tax must be paid in YEN ONLY

Yellow plate road tax must be paid to the city office. We are sorry we do not provide this service.

The process for paying your road tax here is as follows:

• Pay $10 or ￥1000 handling fee
• Pay in YEN ONLY your road tax (rates mentioned above)
• Give us your title and 2008 road tax receipt so we can show them to LTO
• We make a copy and give that to you so you can still drive your car
• We will provide you a date when you need to return to BC and pickup your finished paperwork

Flower of the month

Twice a month we change our flower display in our office. Now we have Casablanca flowers along with the beautiful Orchids that always adorn our work space.

List of local events

On May 3rd -5th there will be the annual dragon boat races held at AJA Port in Naha.
There will be live music, attractions and fireworks along with many venders at the races.
Free admission to all!
